Ingredients

Method

  1. Pour the base into a Creami pint. Whisk together. Put the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.
  2. For the maple syrup topping, bring the maple syrup to a simmer in a medium saucepan over a medium heat, stirring now and then. Heat until it reaches 113°C on a sugar thermometer. Set aside while the ice cream spins.
  3. Press: LITE ICE CREAM Re-spin if it needs it.
  4. Serve straight away. Spoon the hot maple syrup carefully over the ice cream. The cold ice cream sets the syrup to a chewy, toffee-like texture.

We add up the nutrition in each ingredient, using standard food data from the US Department of Agriculture's FoodData Central (and typical packet values where it has no match, such as UK double cream), then divide by the 2 servings this recipe makes. Brands vary, so treat it as a guide. Optional extras and the liquid you top up with before spinning aren't counted.
